This year we have several outing planned with all of the children to discover and explore the forest.
This first visit was just for the Middle and Big Sections, and they had a wonderful time!
Rain was forecast so the children left school equipt with ‘rain suits’ and wellington boots! We were however, lucky enough to only have a few minutes of drizzle while on our woodland adventure!
The children collected twigs, sticks, acorns, chesnuts, conkers, moss, leaves – all kinds of things from the forest with which to make a collage on their return to school!
We’re looking forward to going back to the forest with all of the children soon! Watch this space!
